The collection consists of 3 letter books, containing copies of Barclay's letters from 1813 to 1814 relating to prisoners of war; 1 account book giving his accounts with the Board of Transport, and with various sub-agents, from 1813 to 1814; and 2 volumes containing lists of British and American prisoners of war, with some data about them, such as rank, where captured, by whom, etc., from 1812 to 1814.
